Catholic men have had no “third place” for far too long, and it shows.
Culture isn’t just built in the parish hall. It’s built in spaces where men can work, study, talk, think, work out, and relax together.
This space will be a first small step towards a rebuilt Catholic men’s culture in Columbus, the heart of it all.
This is our outpost moment.
This is what The Outpost looks like now.
But it’s not what it will look like soon.
By April 2026, we will fundraise $10k from members and other Catholics in Columbus who share this vision for a culture-creating men’s space.
We will use these funds for materials, completing all self-perform labor and skilled trades work, starting with the main sitting room.
When we’re finished in June 2026, the space will be less “warehouse office” and more “speakeasy,” and will be ready for our summer 2026 social events.
By August 2026, we plan to have scaled to 50 members, which will be our proof of concept leading to a second seed capital campaign of $20k in the fall.
This second push will allow us to completely renovate the rest of the space, including: gym, chapel, kitchen, and outdoor cigar patio, all to be completed by end of December 2026.
